The Monster Walks

I didn't want to dwell on modern-ish horror, so I thought I'd take a step back in time and discuss something old. And racist. And really, really ridiculous.

So I started watching 1932's The Monster Walks, the classic tale of a demented family and its pet monkey. The monkey is the monster, and it walks apparently.

Unfortunately, it's taking me a while to slog through the 63-minute run-time. (It's so boring, it's almost in slow motion.) So I thought I'd post the beginning of the film with a few of my comments worked in. Enjoy.
